Today we supported sports relief!
Here we are after we ran a mile for sports relief. As you can see, we are red faced and tired, but it was all for a good cause. Children and teachers donated £2 each to wear their sports clothes and run the mile. In class we learnt all about Sports Relief, we watched a video about a girl called Champa who lives in the slums in Dhaka the capital of Bangladesh. She has to work everyday and is only 10 years old. The money that we raised today will go towards helping children like Champa have a better life. We also considered which Unicef Articles Champa's life breaks. We found a horrifying 7! It certainly made us realise how lucky we are.image protection

World Maths Day March 3rd.
6.1 really had a fun-filled Maths day.
6.1 really had a fun-filled Maths day.
Most children dressed up very imaginatively.
The numbers had been sewn onto this T shirt.
A human calculator!
We could just "use" this T shirt to calculate our times tables.
The winner of the dressing up-well done!
Thank you for making such a wonderful game at home. I bet we could sell it in Smiths!
